Headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Alliance Medical Monitoring Inc. is structured to provide monitoring, employment and biological testing services across Canada as well as throughout the United States. Please inquire if you require services in other countries as testing has been facilitated for participants who travel as part of work, or while on vacation.
Our mission at Alliance Medical Monitoring Inc. is to assist our organizational clients in achieving optimal workplace health and safety by providing superior evidence-based services. Our services are available in diverse geographical locations across Canada and include employment testing programs (pre-employment, post-incident and reasonable cause), biological testing programs (employment and legal) and monitoring programs for recovering substance-dependent personnel.
At Alliance Medical Monitoring Inc., it is our belief that the safety and well-being of employees in the workplace, as well as the general public, is of primary importance. Our monitoring programs operate as an extension of Occupational Addiction Medicine, utilizing convincing evidence that participants who have received treatment and education and who are then given personal responsibility and accountability for their behaviours achieve the best health outcomes. Our employment and legal testing programs operate under the prevailing protocols for legally endorsed sample collection and medical review of results.
Alliance Medical Monitoring Inc. believes in honesty, integrity, consistency, and mutual respect. We recognize the importance of interdisciplinary consultations and have adopted a consensus-building team approach with clearly defined and mutually respected boundaries. We value and are committed to ongoing learning, growth and development and sustained quality improvement.
"Overall, although the program and its requirements and restrictions feel overwhelming in the beginning, I do feel that it has contributed hugely to my success in remaining sober."
"Following treatment, I found it very hard adjusting to the monitoring regime, but gradually it became part of my recovery activities. When I look back, I recognize how vital monitoring was for me."
"I particularly like the part at the end of my sessions where I am asked my sobriety date. It is a constant reminder that living in sobriety is a one-day-at-a-time process. Everyone starts with one day and I am so grateful to have made it well over a year now."
"By the end of my term, I’m growing more confident that I will be able to maintain my sobriety. I’ve come to accept that abstinence is the best method of treatment for me as I could not drink alcohol with any degree of limit setting or safety."
"My monitor was supportive and always ensured she had my best interest at heart and has been a witness to my recovery from alcoholism. I highly recommend Alliance as a comprehensive and professional organization for support with monitoring."
